(New York, NY, February 2019)—Attendee registration is now open for the NYSCC (New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists) Suppliers’ Day, celebrating its 40th Anniversary and The Evolution of Beauty. Taking place May 7-8, 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, New York, Suppliers’ Day is the must-attend event for all those seeking innovation, education and business connections in the cosmetics and personal care industries.

Cosmetic chemists, ingredient executives including R&D professionals involved in ingredient/strategic sourcing, formulation experts, and professionals involved in marketing beauty and personal products are encouraged to register as attendees now for this highly anticipated event: https://r1.events-registration.com/SuppliersDay2019/

“Every year we seek to raise the bar in delivering insights and showcasing innovations, and this year’s program contains several new elements to enhance the attendee experience,” said Sonia Dawson, Chair, NYSCC.

Suppliers’ Day will have its biggest exhibit floor to date with more than 500 top suppliers and distributors set to display their latest innovations and industry solutions, and this year’s show floor will showcase an Innovation Hub featuring close to a dozen new solutions, ingredients and formulations, some of which are debuting in North America at Suppliers’ Day.

Specialty areas on the expanded exhibit floor include the Future Chemists Workshop, Innovation and Presentation Theaters, as well as a 40 Year Retrospective from NYSCC past chairs, members, brands, and suppliers.

Curated by the NYSCC Scientific Advisory Committee, Suppliers’ Day will also offer even more hours of educational programming on the topics that are most pressing to those involved in formulations, sourcing, and marketing beauty and personal care products including:

-“Fragrance: The Invisible Art,” an all-day in-depth program co-produced with the American Society of Perfumers, and featuring experts in perfume, scent, essential oils, consumer trends, and more.

-“Innovation & Compliance,” produced by PCPC (Personal Care Products Council) in collaboration with IKW, a leading European Association for German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent, to create a program that addresses important safety, lab testing, and QA topics in the industry today.

-“Inside Out Beauty,” sponsored by HAPPI and focused on supporting Microbiome health through beauty and how understanding the culmination of all environmental exposure the body faces from birth onward, known as the exposome, can impact new cosmetic development.

-Popular program tracks focused on green issues and reducing waste with HAPPI sponsored “Discover Sustainability,” global sourcing and marketing trends from “World of Chemistry,” sponsored by PC Magazine, and new ways to reach consumers and build communities with “Digital Age of Beauty.”

NYSCC has also partnered with CEW, an international organization of 9,000 individual members representing a cross section of beauty and related businesses, on:

“Supplier’s Award: Ingredients and Formulation.”  The winner of this award will be announced at Suppliers’ Day and then celebrated at the CEW Beauty Awards ceremony later in the month.  The Industry Awards Night is also back at Suppliers’ Day and will have an 80’s theme transporting attendees back to the look, feel, and music of some of the first Suppliers’ Days.

Suppliers’ Day is the NYSCC flagship event and is expected to attract close to 10,000 participants working in R&D and product development for the biggest brand manufacturers in beauty and personal care as well as emerging independents.  To register to attend and for more information on NYSCC Suppliers’ Day visit: https://nyscc.org/suppliersday.  Registration is now complimentary for members and non-members.
