The NYSCC Mentorship Program is currently focusing on connecting mentors and mentees who are members of the NYSCC Chapter. We have ambitious plans to broaden our reach and welcome national participation as the program grows. Christina Philips is the Technical Marketing Leader with the Personal Care Division of Gattefossé and has been in the industry for 8 years. In her current role, she strives to address trends while highlighting the company’s ingredients through sensorial prototypes and technical presentations. Prior to joining Gattefossé in 2020, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology before working in formulation, ingredients sales, and project management.

Kseniya is a specialist in cosmetic chemistry who’s transforming how we think about sustainable beauty. With over 17 years of experience, she’s advancing innovative approaches to cosmetic formulation.

Her professional journey includes developing breakthrough products for brands like Farmacy Beauty and the Rootist. After years as lead formulator at iLABS, she founded Symbiotic Beauty Lab, a consultancy built on her core belief that beauty innovation thrives through harmonious relationships between science and nature, performance and sustainability, brands and their partners.

As co-chair of the NYSCC Mentorship Program, she’s dedicated to fostering connections and developing future leaders in cosmetic science.
