The NYSCC is excited to announce the 3rd annual NYSCC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM! Through this program, we support students in gaining hands-on experience with companies in the cosmetic industry. The paid 8 to 10-week internships will take place onsite at ingredient supplier, contract manufacturer and finished goods companies in hair, skin, body, oral and sun care as well as color cosmetics and fragrance.

The NYSCC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is an initiative that allows NYSCC to further its mission of advancing cosmetic science and to amplify its impact as a key resource for those who are passionate about the cosmetic industry.

Benefits:

  • Hands-on corporate experience in the cosmetic industry
  • Paid in-person internship ($25/hr) in NJ / NY / CT / PA
  • Housing stipend ($4000) available if necessary
  • Exposure to NYSCC, a large network of cosmetic industry professionals

Criteria:

  • U.S.-based sophomores, juniors, seniors & graduate students majoring in cosmetic science or related scientific fields (e.g. chemistry, biology, engineering, pharmaceutical science, etc.)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Interest in a career in the cosmetic industry
  • Ability to work without visa sponsorship
