Allison Kent-Gunn:
With over 7 years of behind the scenes experience, Allison has collaborated with beauty brands from ranging from indie to international, taking their product packaging from ideation to successful mass production. She works as a Sales Director at Berlin|Jansy, specializing in beauty packaging, however her passion extends beyond her 9 to 5. She offers independent consulting to emerging brands and leverages her social media presence to educate beauty consumers as well as industry professionals on the nuances of sustainable packaging.
Mike Fevola:
Michael J. Fevola, PhD has been a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists since 2006. He is currently the Vice President of Research & Development, Consumer Solutions at Vantage Specialty Chemicals, where he leads R&D for Vantage’s Personal Care and Food business units. Prior to joining Vantage, Mike served as Vice President, R&D at Inolex, Inc. from 2018 to 2025, where he led the Molecular Design, Applications & Technical Service, Product Stewardship, and Intellectual Property Management functions. Mike began his industrial career with experiences at Hoechst Celanese Corp. and National Starch & Chemical Co. (now Nouryon). In 2003, he joined Johnson & Johnson Consumer (now Kenvue) as a Staff Scientist with the Technical Assurance/Technical Transfer group. During his time with J&J, Mike held positions of increasing responsibility in the R&D organization, ultimately rising to Research Director & Fellow in the Global Beauty R&D Platforms group, where he led the Sun Care and Body Care Innovation teams. Mike holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and earned his PhD in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is an inventor on over 40 issued U.S. Patents and a coauthor of approximately 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, in addition to many contributions to industry trade journals. Mike is a recipient of the SCC Award for Best Paper, a two-time winner of the J&J Philip B. Hofmann Research Scientist Award, and was twice awarded the Johnson Medal for Research & Development, the most prestigious scientific recognition at J&J. Mike serves as Chair of the Personal Care Products Council’s International Nomenclature Committee and speaks fluent INCI. His past SCC service includes terms as a member of the SCC’s Committee on Scientific Affairs and as Editor of the Journal of Cosmetic Science.
Jennifer Santos:
Jennifer Santos joined the National Advertising Division of BBB National Programs as a staff attorney in 2021. In her role, she resolves disputes over the truthfulness and accuracy of national advertising campaigns, writing and publishing detailed decisions that provide guidance and critical insights to the advertising industry. Prior to joining NAD, Jennifer was Vice President of Advertising Standards at NBC Universal, where she led the department in its review of advertising for the broadcast network, NBC Universal cable networks and all NBC custom-created content to ensure truthfulness and compliance with federal and state law and NBC guidelines. Jennifer also spent time as an adjunct professor of Business Law at Molloy University and in private practice focusing on trademark and commercial litigation. She received her B.A. from Villanova University and her J.D. from St. John’s School of Law. Jennifer is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
Charlotte Palermino:
Charlotte Palermino is the co-founder and CEO of Dieux, an award-winning clinically vetted and price transparent skincare line that in three years has catapulted into cult status. Formerly launching editorial at Snap Inc. and writing for publications like The Cut, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Bon Appetit, Charlotte is known for her straightforward and science-backed approach to marketing, beauty standards and how to navigate an increasingly chaotic world.
