McKinley Resources, Inc. is a Supplier of over-the-counter active ingredients, cosmetic specialty chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and flavors. McKinley Resources focuses on providing solutions for anti-aging, anti-inflammation, anti-acne, anti-oxidant and skin lightening formulations with clinical claim substantiation. We strive to be a one-stop source that provides customers with high-quality products, the supporting technical information and valuable insight on product application.

We are currently seeking a motivated, dedicated person to join our team and help fuel our growth and expansion.
McKinley Resources is looking for a Sales Representative to service an assigned territory within the United States. The ideal candidate will be able to identify potential clients, recommend new products and offer solutions that meet the customer’s need. The candidate must be able to prospect for new sales leads in the assigned territory, manage all new and existing sales activities in the assigned territory, respond to all customer inquiries and requests within 24 hours, perform face-to-face presentations on a regular basis.

This is a full-time, permanent, 100% telecommute position with salary plus commission, 401(K), profit sharing opportunities as well as healthcare benefits. The position provides an opportunity to work
independently to achieve business objectives with minimal management oversite, while working remotely from a home office. Ideal candidates will be available to work consistently from 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday, as well as additional hours as needed. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Monitor emails for incoming customer requests and respond in a timely fashion.
• Enter customer information and requests into the company customer relationship management (CRM) database.
• Complete regular sales reports.
• Generate and send product quotes to customers.
• Monitor CRM efficacy and assist with CRM clean-up, updates, and customization as needed.
• Work with documentation team to fulfill product documentation requests from customers.
• Anticipate and monitor needs for new/additional documentation and work to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with other teams to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Contribute to a professional atmosphere through positive interaction with colleagues, suppliers, and customers…teamwork.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Anticipate the needs of the entrepreneur, customers, and company, and act accordingly.
• Provide quality service by following organization standards.
• Identify opportunities where represented product lines can provide high value solutions.
• Pursue additional avenues for increase in company’s positive publicity while managing the
corporate image and advertising efforts.

• Develop and manage effective professional relationships with target customers at multiple levels, including Scientists, Chemists, Researchers, and Purchasing Agents.
• Identify opportunities where represented product lines can provide high value solutions.
• Create strategic account plans identifying key individuals, initiatives and actions to deliver solutions while clearly articulating the value proposition of the various product lines.
• Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of represented product lines and their practical applications to the challenges faced by target customers.
• Identify, qualify, and engage appropriate client organizations.
• Understand and clearly communicate the technical aspects (e.g., experimental data, clinical studies, etc.) of McKinley product offerings.
• Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings to promote products, expand business opportunities and support customers.
• Occasional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
o Draft and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
o Perform and/or coordinate special projects as assigned.
o Assist with new business efforts and research new client opportunities.
o Complete other activities as assigned to support the business needs of the company.

Job Requirements:
• Candidates must live within the assigned territory.
• Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience in the raw materials industry.
• Driver’s License and reliable mode of transportation.
• Working knowledge of raw materials and specialty chemicals.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and make problem solving recommendations.
• Professional appearance, highly motivated, disciplined, self-starter and strong work ethic.

Education/experience required:
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years applied experience in the Consultative Selling approach and a strong sales track record (preferred).
• Extensive client and/or vendor contact experience.
• Small business environment experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
