TEA for Potion or Pleasure – Presented by Gail Gastelu
Tea is super healthy to consume, did you know it is also an efficacious ingredient for skincare? We will taste and compare different teas (Camellia sinensis), learn how it is grown and processed to be white, green, oolong, or black and discover its health benefits for consumption or application. We will also brainstorm unique directions of using tea for beauty inside and out. Tea is often used as an ingredient in recipes too. This evening, we will also enjoy a special, delicious, surprise, tea cocktail! The perfect topic for our culinary event!!
GAIL GASTELU BIO:
Gail Gastelu is Director Business Development for Celmark International, a contract manufacturer of skincare and liquid dietary supplements. Gail has a long and impressive background in the tea industry, publishing, marketing, writing, and presenting for a publication she owns and continues to publish since 2003; entitled The Tea House Times. Her communications and relationships with businesses, consumers, and media cross the tea industry, functional beverages, nutrition, and skincare with Celmark. Ms. Gastelu works closely with the Celmark product development team, chemists, laboratory, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that trends and ingredients come together to create something unique and different for each customer. She is an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and Cosmetic Executive Women. Ms. Gastelu resides in New Jersey.
