The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists is thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone—its 70th anniversary! NYSCC will be marking seven decades of leadership in cosmetic science, honoring years of inspiration, innovation, and groundbreaking ingredients and formulations that have become synonymous with its flagship event, Suppliers’ Day. We invite you to join us on Saturday, November 16th, from 8 PM to midnight at the historic and spectacular Plaza Hotel in New York City. Experience the grandeur of New York’s iconic luxury hotel, located at Central Park South!
The Plaza Hotel has been a symbol of New York’s elegance, hosting world leaders, dignitaries, captains of industry, Broadway legends, and Hollywood royalty. As a renowned venue for lavish society affairs and blockbuster films, The Plaza has welcomed guests from around the globe to experience its magic at the castle on Central Park South for over 100 years. Ideally situated on Fifth Avenue, The Plaza’s prestigious address continues to define sophistication with unparalleled service and a modern sensibility. The opulent Grand Ballroom and Terrace Room have been meticulously restored to their original grandeur, continuing to host some of New York City’s most memorable moments, which are central to The Plaza’s legacy.
This year’s event will feature a grand, sophisticated, and platinum-themed décor to commemorate our 70th anniversary and honor the cosmetic science leaders, educators, and contributors who have made this society the best it can be. The event will welcome our current Executive Board members along with their chairwoman, Dr. Amber Evans, SCC National Representative, who will install the incoming 2025 board members. We may even have special guests from NYSCC’s past leadership and more! Dr. Amber Evans envisions the organization as a force to drive the cosmetic industry to INSPIRE, INNOVATE, and CELEBRATE! We are incredibly excited to have everyone join us for a night of pure celebration. Additionally, we will be announcing the recipients of the Scholarship and Grant Awards, Chapter Merit Awards, and 2025 Access Awards.
Network with new and current industry friends and colleagues while enjoying The Plaza’s Grand Ballroom with its platinum theme that will surely WOW you! There will be live entertainment featuring pop, rock, jazz, and today’s hits. A plated dinner and beverage service will be provided, and we highly recommend bringing your platinum-inspired outfit (Black Tie) to fill the event space with the most sophisticated vibe.
